Locations- Old Town Peoria, Peoria Center for Performing Arts (PCPA), Osuna Park, 83rd Ave (Washington Street to Monroe Street)
February 8, 2020; 8am to 4:30pm, Check-in TBA, Judging 5:30pm, Lobby PCPA
Overview
Artwork- Painting sizes of 8”x10” and 9”x12” only. Purchase price of framed painting $500. How many artists- 20 artists would be invited. Awards –Purchase awards of $500 each for the 8 paintings chosen by judges to add to the City’s collection. Artists are eligible for First Place $500, Second Place $300 and Third Place $200 awards even if they have received a purchase award.
Jury Process
Artists submit application and 3-5 Jpeg images. Jury will be made up from Peoria Arts Commission. The Jury will choose the artists to participate from the entries submitted. The same jurors will choose the paintings for purchase and the awards. Artists will setup their easel with painting in the lobby of the PCPA at 5:30pm.
